Keeping Our Band Running Smoothly
Fundraiser Goals
The students and parents of the Alamance Community & Homeschool Band raise funds every year to support our ACHSB Boosters. The ACHSB Boosters use the funds to retain and maintain instruments, retain practice and concert space, and to supply students with shirts and uniforms, when needed. We also have other needs that arise throughout the year that we cover when funds are available.

Some of the needs that arise throughout the year include:

Mr. Morris challenges our band members to progress musically and occasionally purchases new sheet music to meet the skill level of the band.

Our band participates in an annual All-County Band. We usually make a donation for the students in order to help them enjoy their All-County Band experience.

Mr. Morris enjoys recognizing exceptional band members at our annual spring concert. He provides trophies to those who have earned the recognition.

A couple of times a year, we have a party with the band outside of practice to allow the kids to socialize and have fun.

Most importantly, we appreciate our band director and all he gives to our students, so we offer him a bonus several times a year when funds are available.

Annual Fundraisers
ACHSB students and parents participate in several fundraisers each year!

In the past, we have participated in Chick-fil-A fundraisers, Krispy Kreme fundraisers, and yard sales,
but we are always looking for other ways to raise funds to ensure our band continues.
​
We hold other fundraisers throughout the year, as needed.
