The Future Sounds Good

Music education is an excellent investment for any child. The benefits of music education are many, including improved math skills, language development, spacial-temporal skills, greater brain development, and increased test scores, amongst other wonderful benefits. Contact us today to see how band can benefit your child!

The First Note

First year band students do not need to have experience in order to join our Beginner Band. They may choose an instrument to play. Our band has a small selection of instruments available to rent for a nominal annual fee. Other instruments can be rented from Music and Arts in Burlington.

Lessons are held Mondays and Thursdays, 5:00 - 5:45 pm, at a monthly cost of $100. The Beginner Band also participates in our annual spring concert with the Advanced Band.

Teach In Harmony

Students with at least one year of experience may join our Advanced Band. The Advanced Band meets on Mondays and Thursdays, 4:00 - 4:50 pm, at a monthly cost of $100.

Advanced Band students may also take part in marching opportunities in local parades, and they participate in the All-County band concert that takes place annually in February.

Enrichment

Students who already play an instrument in our Advanced Band have a unique opportunity to further their music education.

Mr. Morris welcomes and encourages all students to add to their skills by also joining our Beginner Band to learn another instrument.
